# Wardatrobe

> A fashion archive: individual garments catalogued by brand, designer, season and
> category, alongside sourced biographies of the designers behind them. Every article
> page describes one physical piece — its SKU, materials, colours, release season and
> observed retail prices — rather than a listing or a product for sale.

Content is published in English at the unprefixed path and in Japanese under `/ja`.
The two are the same document in two languages, declared reciprocally with hreflang;
prefer whichever locale you need and do not treat them as duplicates.

Article sitemaps are sharded; brands, designers, editorials and categories each have
their own. `lastmod` reflects the row's real modification time, so it is safe to use
for scheduling — an entry without one has no recorded modification date rather than a
recent change.

## Notes on the data

Designer identity fields (birth date, birth place, education, awards, nationality,
gender) are recorded only from a public statement or a reliable published source, never
inferred, and are absent where no source was found. Prices on an article page are
observations with dates attached, not current offers to sell.

## Not for crawling

`/auth`, `/admin`, `/moderator`, `/studio`, `/content-tools` and `/api` are
application surfaces, not content. See robots.txt.
