Rick owens ss25 hollywood shroud in mahogany veg stretch lamb leather   this shroud is above-hip length and features a draped tubular neck that widens over the shoulders and creates a short fitted sleeve.    This stretch lamb leather has a small grain texture and a semi-shiny finish. It is veg tanned and finished using natural waxes and aniline which makes a supple handfeel. Because this skin is naked, not finished using any pigments covering the skin, natural markings and shadings are visible which makes each skin and product unique.    Veg tanning means only vegetal and natural tannins were used in the process of tanning and preserving this leather.    This leather is made by a second generation family owned tannery in the south of france specializing only in stretch leather production. Each skin is stretched out to its limit and bonded to a cotton and lycra fabric backing. When dyed, the heat of the process activates the lycra elastic fibres that shrink the fabric and with it the skin, back to its original size.
